Shipping Clerk
Shipping Coordinator â Manufacturing/Distribution Environment
Job Summary
The Shipping Coordinator supports daily outbound logistics for a busy industrial operation, ensuring all shipments are prepared accurately, documented properly, and moved on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily shipping activities through major carriers (FedEx, UPS) and freight forwarders

Prepare shipping documentation, export paperwork, and compliance-related forms

Confirm packaged orders, including box counts, dimensions, and weights

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

Perform consistent follow-up via email to track shipments and resolve delays

Maintain organized communication using Outlook for high-volume email correspondence

Update internal systems with shipment details and status changes

Support general logistics, export, and compliance processes as needed
Required Skills & Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency with Outlook and email-heavy workflows

Experience with shipping carriers, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination

Familiarity with export documentation and compliance is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Schedule & Compensation

Hours: 9:00 AMâ5:00 PM or 10:00 AMâ6:00 PM

Pay: $23â$25 per hour
