Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QuickBooks Specialist to support our accounting operations on a part-time basis. This role focuses primarily on account reconciliation, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in QuickBooks
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review transactions for accuracy and proper classification
- Collaborate with internal team members or external accountants as needed
- Generate basic financial reports upon request
Qualifications:
- Proven experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
Schedule:
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible schedule (specify if needed)
