Upholstery Helper

We are seeking an entry level Upholsterer to join our production team specializing in restaurant booth seating. This is an entry level position; no prior upholstery experience is required. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the craft.

This role supports our upholstery department in the preparation and assembly of restaurant booths and related seating components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of restaurant booth seat springs

• Glue foam to wood frames in preparation for upholstery

• Operate foam cutting machine (training provided)

• Cut and shape foam to specifications

• Assist upholsterers with prep and material handling

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow safety procedures and production standards

• Support team members to meet daily production goals

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary – training provided

• Strong willingness to learn a skilled trade

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management in support of company business needs and goals as needed.

$20-$24 per hour depending on experience
