Pay & Schedule
Pay: $20.87/hr (increasing to $21.92/hr starting May 1st)
Current Schedule (OT):
MonâThurs: 5:00 AM â 3:00 PM
Fri: 5:00 AM â 1:30 PM
Some Saturdays required
Regular Schedule: 6:00 AM â 1:30 PM
Position Summary
Performs production welding and fabrication on carbon and stainless steel, including pressure vessels, piping, and skid systems. Responsible for producing high-quality welds with minimal supervision while following engineering drawings and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding on carbon steel and stainless steel (similar and dissimilar metals)
Utilize MIG, Flux Core (FCAW), and Submerged Arc welding processes
Operate plasma cutters and oxy-fuel equipment
Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Perform layout and fabrication with minimal supervision
Operate hand and power tools (grinders, hammers, plate rolls, etc.)
Create simple jigs and fixtures as needed
Ensure weld quality (minimal porosity, slag, and rework)
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Support additional production tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing
Experience with MIG, Flux Core, and/or Submerged Arc welding
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with hand and power tools
Forklift experience (sit-down) preferred
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 20 lbs unassisted; 50â100 lbs with assistance
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a production environment
Additional Requirements
