Tool Room Technician

Location: Aerospace CNC Machine Shop

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Overtime: Opportunities available

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tool Room Technician to join a fast-paced aerospace CNC machine shop environment. This full-time, day-shift position requires strong technical experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards required in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and break down tool / tool holder stack-up assemblies (kitting)

Read and interpret setup sheets, production orders, and blueprints

Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and other tool room equipment

Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools

Maintain organized tool inventory and ensure tooling readiness for production

Follow all safety, quality, and aerospace compliance standards

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in an aerospace CNC machine shop environment (required)

Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and fixture design

Experience working with tight tolerances and aerospace-grade materials

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
