CMM Operator/Programmer
Hourly 35-50
We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Operator/Programmer to operate and program Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software for precise dimensional inspection of parts against GD&T blueprints. Responsibilities include running inspections, maintaining equipment, recording data, and using various measurement tools. Advancement opportunities exist for individuals with strong GD&T knowledge, advanced programming skills, and leadership potential, involving tasks such as training, developing quality plans, and supervising teams.
Responsibilities:
Operate and program Zeiss CMMs (Calypso).
Perform dimensional inspections according to GD&T blueprints.
Maintain CMM equipment and document findings.
Utilize basic measurement tools and ERP systems.
Meet productivity standards and follow company policies.
Advancement may involve: Advanced programming, GD&T expertise, training, software proficiency, quality plan development, and team leadership.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED.
- Relevant CMM operation and inspection experience (level dependent).
- Blueprint reading skills. *Familiarity with measurement equipment and computer systems.
- Higher levels may require: GD&T proficiency, advanced CMM programming skills, software knowledge, and strong communication abilities.
