Mechanical Transmitter Assembler

The Mechanical Transmitter Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging transmitter units that contain multiple electronic modules. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment while following strict quality standards, ESD safety requirements, and detailed work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble transmitter units according to drawings and work instructions

• Operate laser engraving equipment for product marking

• Perform functional and Hi-Pot testing to ensure quality and compliance

• Package and label finished products

• Restock materials and maintain inventory organization

• Follow ESD handling procedures and safety policies

• Maintain productivity and quality in a high-paced environment

• Rotate between workstations to support production flow

• Report quality issues, material shortages, or equipment problems

• Keep work area clean and organized (support 6S/Lean practices)

• Communicate effectively with team members and support departments

• Stand for extended periods during shifts

Qualifications:

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions

• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of ESD handling practices

• Familiarity with computer systems and manufacturing tools

• Strong time management and ability to prioritize work orders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary- $20-$23 per hour DOE
