Electronic Assembler in Torrance, CA
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler II to join the operations team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in electronic and mechanical assembly, including soldering, system integration, and testing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and producing high-quality assemblies in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform precision soldering of electronic components (SMT, through-hole, and wiring/harnessing)

Assemble electro-mechanical products based on technical drawings and specifications

Support prototype builds and new product introductions (NPI)

Assist in developing and refining assembly procedures and work instructions

Conduct production assembly, functional testing, and inspections

Perform board-level programming and testing

Manage materials and inventory in accordance with established procedures

Kit components for production orders

Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing and Quality teams to ensure timely and accurate production

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to verify quality and specifications

Provide guidance and training on soldering best practices as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
3â5 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment
-
Strong soldering skills (SMT, through-hole, and cable/harness assembly)
-
Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 preferred)

Experience with PCB assembly, testing, and ESD protocols is a plus
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions

Understanding of inventory control processes in a production setting

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Pay range: $24â$30/hour
