Welder / Fabricator (MIG/TIG/FCAW)

Pay: $22–$30/hour (DOE)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA (onsite)

Schedule: M-F, 7am to 3:30pm (occasional overtime)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong experience in structural and pipe welding to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality welds, thrives in a hands-on environment, and values safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on stainless and carbon steel using MIG, TIG, and FCAW processes

• Fabricate and weld a variety of components including structural frames, skids, piping, tanks, and sheet metal

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication

• Execute layout, fitting, and assembly of materials for both light and heavy structures

• Maintain X-ray quality welds while adhering to safety and quality standards

• Operate fabrication equipment including overhead cranes, saws, brakes, shears, and ironworkers

• Identify and troubleshoot issues, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Proven experience with structural steel, pipe, plate, and sheet metal fabrication

• Solid understanding of welding techniques, procedures, and quality standards

• Experience working with shop equipment and fabrication tools

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
