Service Operations Manager in Krugerville, TX

Defense Search Krugerville, TX (Onsite) Full-Time

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Operations Manager for a transportation dealer-distributor located in Krugerville, Texas.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours/week (hours may vary based on operational needs)

  • Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience

  • Bonus Potential: Additional earnings through performance bonuses could bring total compensation into six figures

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer service experience in automotive, bus, or heavy truck dealership environments

  • 5+ years of personnel management experience (preferably overseeing 40+ employees)

  • Strong knowledge of on-highway vehicle products and warranties

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Some technical training or mechanical knowledge preferred

  • P&L (Profit & Loss) experience highly preferred

  • Strong leadership skills and an ownership mentality

  • Retail Store Managers (e.g., Target, Best Buy) with P&L and team leadership experience

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the service team, ensuring professional growth and OEM certification compliance

  • Promote clear communication with internal and external customers regarding service expectations

  • Monitor and act on KPIs related to customer satisfaction, production, revenue, and WIP (Work in Progress)

  • Drive continuous improvement through SOP and process enhancements

  • Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals

  • Conduct in-person customer visits to build and maintain strong relationships

  • Oversee recruiting, performance management, and development of service team members

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OEM standards

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

  • WIP performance metrics

  • Monthly sales and gross profit targets

  • Team development and certification milestones

  • OEM Factory Team Familiarization

  • Network Communications Development
