About the Company:

A fast-paced aerospace machine shop specializing in detailed, high-quality parts for demanding industries. Seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join their team and help drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in our production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize jobs based on lead-time requirements in consultation with the Production Control Manager.

• Identify jobs requiring vendor-furnished material and hardware and notify Purchasing of requirements.

• Review blueprints, specifications, and purchase orders provided by customers to establish production planning requirements.

• Develop start-to-finish production plans, ensuring all quality and aerospace requirements are met.

• Review and approve planning work completed by others to maintain consistency and compliance.

• Ensure adherence to Aerospace Standards and GD&T requirements throughout the planning process.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in shop routing and production planning.

• Strong knowledge of Aerospace Standards and GD&T requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase contracts, and manufacturing specifications.

• Familiarity with manufacturing and processing specifications in aerospace environments.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
