Production Lead â Assembly (Hydraulic Fittings / Aerospace Manufacturing)
Location: West Covina, CA (On-site)
Pay: $32â$35/hr (DOE)
4/10 Work Schedule / 5am to 330pm Mon-Thursday

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Assembly Production Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of the Assembly & Testing Departments. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating workflows, meeting production targets, and maintaining quality & safety standards. Strong leadership, technical understanding, and operational efficiency are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and schedule daily operations within the Assembly Department
• Lead a team of ~10 Assembly & Testing personnel to meet production goals
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, CNC Machining, Sales, and Production Planning
• Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, consumables, and tooling
• Issue materials to jobs and maintain accurate production documentation
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity & reduce waste
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance
• Maintain accurate records on output, utilization, and operational costs
Qualifications
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in aerospace, machining, or precision manufacturing environment
• Experience working within AS9100 and/or NADCAP-certified operations preferred
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & blueprints
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles & quality control systems
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline a plus
