Aerospace Quality Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to support a fast-paced job shop environment with high-mix, quick-turn manufacturing flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working under AS9100 requirements, and confident supporting in-process and final inspections.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 DOE (Depending on Experience)

• Start Date: ASAP following completion of pre-employment requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in an aerospace manufacturing environment operating under an AS9100 quality system

• Interpret and apply blueprints, specifications, and GD&T with a high level of accuracy

• Measure and record inspection results using calipers and micrometers

• Document inspection data on routers and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports

• Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Ensure products meet all quality and customer requirements prior to release

• Maintain accurate, clear, and compliant documentation with strong attention to detail

• Follow verbal and written instructions and report findings to the QA Manager and management team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as an Aerospace Quality Inspector

• Excellent blueprint reading skills, including GD&T

• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and quality systems (AS9100)

• Proficient with calipers and micrometers

• Solid shop math skills and good penmanship

• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows

• Typing speed of 25 WPM minimum with high accuracy

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving job shop environment
