Aerospace Quality Inspector
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to support a fast-paced job shop environment with high-mix, quick-turn manufacturing flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working under AS9100 requirements, and confident supporting in-process and final inspections.
Schedule & Pay
Shift: Monday â Friday | 7:00 AM â 3:30 PM
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 DOE (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP following completion of pre-employment requirements
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections in an aerospace manufacturing environment operating under an AS9100 quality system
Interpret and apply blueprints, specifications, and GD&T with a high level of accuracy
Measure and record inspection results using calipers and micrometers
Document inspection data on routers and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports
Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Ensure products meet all quality and customer requirements prior to release
Maintain accurate, clear, and compliant documentation with strong attention to detail
Follow verbal and written instructions and report findings to the QA Manager and management team
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as an Aerospace Quality Inspector
Excellent blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing and quality systems (AS9100)
Proficient with calipers and micrometers
Solid shop math skills and good penmanship
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows
Typing speed of 25 WPM minimum with high accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving job shop environment
