Technical Support - Ballot- PCs - County Elections

Pay range: $22-$23/hr

Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking qualified candidates for multiple Technical Support positions for a County of San Bernardino Agency. The Technical Support positions will be responsible for preparing and executing the upcoming elections in San Bernardino County this election year. These temporary project positions will range from 1 to 3 months supporting elections the Primary Election (June 2026) and General Election (November 2026). Must be able to work overtime from 10-12 hours per days including weekends closer to election day. The ideal candidates will be able to start early, 6am and work on Saturdays when needed.

Duties:

• Operate election equipment (ballot machines, PC's, iPads)

• Prepare inventory for input into machines

• Record batch reconciliation information

• Provide verification of output material and other pertinent information

• Review and perform quality assurance checks for various election materials, equipment, and processes

• Perform related warehouse duties as required

• Complete paperwork associated with the recording of election material

• Maintain election equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Technically inclined (PC Tech experience)

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to perform routine physical tasks

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

• Intermediate/advanced computer skills

• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively both orally and written

• Detail oriented

• Ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines

• Able to work in a fast paced environment, continuously for long periods of time

• Must have a valid California Driver's License

Preferred qualifications

Associates degree in Computer or IT related field.

IT Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft.
