Position Overview:

The Safety Coordinator will oversee and improve health and safety performance within a manufacturing environment by implementing safety programs, conducting training, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This role works closely with employees at all levels to promote a strong culture of safety and ensure a secure workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures

Conduct safety training across multiple shifts

Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety regulations

Lead accident investigations and provide recommendations

Identify hazards and develop risk mitigation strategies

Maintain safety documentation and reporting

Promote a culture of safety across the organization

Qualifications:

Knowledge of health and safety policies and regulations (OSHA)

Experience with occupational health and safety programs

Ability to conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions

Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field

Certifications (OSHA, CSP, or similar)
