Warehouse Worker/ Forklift Operator

Our client is a long-standing provider of precision metal materials serving a wide range of industrial and technical markets. They are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving/Forklift Operator to join their team for their swing shift of 12:00pm to 8:30pm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pulling and handling metal materials (lengths up to 15 feet)

• Shipping, receiving, and general warehouse support

• Unloading incoming materials and performing receipt/inspection

• Verifying and validating orders for accuracy

• Reading and following work instructions and processing related paperwork

• Operating a sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack

• Packing, staging, and preparing materials for outbound shipment

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift certification

• Ability to enter data into an MRP or warehouse management system

• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, or similar measuring tools

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance

• Upon conditional offer, background check and pre-employment drug screen will be required

• Shift/hours :1200pm–8:30pm

• Pay: $23.00/hr DOE

• Overtime: Required, including some weekends
